Ranky Privacy Policy

Ranky is an iOS app for ranking photos head to head so you can pick your best one, top 3, or full order.

What Ranky stores locally

Local ranking sessions, saved picks, and ranked album exports are handled on your device. If you only use Ranky for local photo picking, that ranking history stays on-device unless you explicitly use a shared board.

What Ranky sends to the backend

Ranky uses Supabase for optional shared boards. When you create or participate in a shared board, Ranky may send:

photos you choose to upload to a shared board
board titles and text items you add to a shared board
vote outcomes and ranking updates needed to keep the shared board in sync
an anonymous app user ID used to associate shared-board actions with your session

Ranky does not use this data for advertising or cross-app tracking. Shared-board data is used only to make the shared ranking feature work.

Photos access

Ranky asks for photo library access only so you can select images to rank and optionally save ranked results back into your own photo library.

Tracking and analytics

Ranky does not use third-party advertising SDKs, does not sell personal information, and does not use your data for cross-app tracking.

Data deletion

You can remove local Ranky data by deleting saved history inside the app or uninstalling the app. If you want shared-board data removed from the backend, email nickitakhy1@gmail.com with the board title or join code and we can delete the related shared-board content.
